After a busy summer of painting local scenery around Sackets Harbor and the 1000 Islands region (click here to see that work), I’m switching gears to work more on my ongoing Prismatic Textiles series.
The Prismatic Textiles are mostly paintings, but also include some bas relief style ceramic panels. The series is conceived as a collection of windows into a sacred space, illuminating the inner structures of the human psyche and the very universe from which we have emerged.

I’m also continuing the development of my ongoing Prismatic Textiles series. These abstract, architectural, and geometric paintings are extremely detailed pieces.
Collectors often tell me about how they like to sit and look at the paintings for long stretches, finding that the paintings serve as a window into a contemplative space.
I recently completed the 11th painting in the series, and am working out new ideas on a set of modular paintings on square canvases, which can be arranged and displayed in groups with each individual painting connecting with the others in a unified image space.
